Stephen Boyden has long been regarded as one of Australia's leading biological scientists. He is an internationally acknowledged pioneer of the study of 'biohistory' which considers the relationship between human culture and biological processes, focussing on the health of humans and ecosystems. Several of his books are based on Darwinian evolution. Professor Boyden is thus ideally placed to help us commemorate Darwin's Birthdate of 12 February 1809.
