Australia is opposing the banning of Nuclear weapons! Make your voice heard.

UN negotiations to ban and eliminate nuclear weapons will resume in less than a month, with the draft treaty text to be released this coming Monday by the Chair of the conference, Costa Rican Ambassador Elayne Whyte. 

Over 130 countries are supporting the ban but it is opposed by Australia! Saturday 17th June will see a mass mobilisation in New York City, the Women's March to Ban the Bomb. In Australia ICAN (International Campaign Against Nuclear Weapons) in association with WILPF (Women's International League for Peace and Freedom) are responding with a National Day of Action, including events in seven cities.
